A blessed and happy Easter for all Visitors of this page.
Some people claim that good and bad are relative terms.
Well, I think they are more absolute than anybody can imagine.
Whatever your musical prefernces, political ideals, religious denomination,
age, sex or skin colour or whatever else, you fiil approximately the same if
you are hungry, mistreated, robbed off, in danger. The real difference
starts at the point when you (and me) are checked how you treat your
neighbour. What is really relative is your (and mine) moral attitude.
The fundamental question of our time is whether we should be good or bad for
other people (and not what is good and what is bad).
Some 2000 years ago Jesus Christ lived a life in which He helped, cured
other people, was good to everybody. Still more, He criticized those doing
harm to other people. Looking into current newspapers, you can guess how He
was rewarded even without reading the Bible. Killed and burried.
But He has risen from the grave. And continued to be good for other people. And this fact shed a totally new light onto His teaching, deeds and life
Therefore, the coming feast is a sign of hope to us.
He is a sign for us that, all in all, not always the more cruel one is the stronger one.
