Instructions for the Authors of accepted papers: regular papers and communications

General Instructions

• The papers must be in English
• The regular papers must and communications should start with a short abstract and a list of a few keywords
• The overall structure of the paper should be as follows:
  1. right-aligned text:

     Intelligent Information Systems VIII
      Proceedings of the Workshop held in
         Ustron, Poland, June 14-18, 1999 
     

  2. title
  3. authors
  4. their affiliations
  5. abstract, keywords
  6. the text of the paper
  7. references
• The font size should not be smaller than 10pt.
• Regular papers must not exceed 10 pages, communications must not exceed 5 pages.
• The text area should be: width 13,5 cm, height 18.5 cm.
• Minimal left margin required is 2 cm. Minimal top margin is 2 cm.
• We accept only POSTSCRIPT version of the paper.
  Please send the postscript file to iis@ipipan.waw.pl as an attachment (no other address is acceptable). Please name your file 99073R.ps if your identity number for IIS'99 is IIS'99073R.
  As soon as we receive the file, we will send a confirmation.
• Take care that we receive the file no later than on April 16th 1999.
• Please send us additionally by e-mail to iis@ipipan.waw.pl in plain text the following information: authors, the final title in English, title in Polish, and the exact number of pages, as well as the short abstract and keywords.
• For preparation of the postscript we recommend BUT DO NOT REQUIRE usage of Latex together with the style file iis99.sty available from http://www.ipipan.waw.pl/~klopotek/iis/iis99.sty
• Please register for the Conferernce at least one of the authors of the paper.
