Instructions for authors


FULL PAPERS QUALIFIED FOR SPRINGER VERLAG

Please read the instructions from the Springer Verlag.

At the WEB site ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/tex/latex/math/proc/author/ you will find all the style files when preparing your final paper in latex2e. Should you use other publishing software (e.g. Word95), please visit the WEB site http://www.springer.de/comp/authors/index.html for available styles.

You have to follow rigurously the Springer-Verlag instructions and the instructions of volume editors that you will receive soon.

Your contribution will be automatically rejected if you fail to meet any of the requirements listed below:

  1. You shall modify your paper only to the extent required by referees (if any such requests were made by them - you will receive a copy of the essential referees' remarks)
  2. The firm page limit is set at 14 for each paper.
  3. You shall send us electronic copy of the camera-ready version no later than on Monday, February 12th, 2001 according to your local time whatever your local time is.
  4. You shall meet all the Springer-Verlag requirements concerning paper layout. E.g. if your margins do not fit the predifined formats, your paper will not be published in the Physica series volume.

For word authors

You may send us a word file. However, it must adhere to all the requirements and be printable with WORD'97 without any modifications.

General Instructions

IN CASE you do not fit these formal requirements you run at the risk of not publishing your paper in the proceeedings.


CONTRIBUTIONS QUALIFIED AS COMMUNICATIONS

Please send us postscript file with your paper not later than April, 15th 2001. The papers should be written in English. The papers should be no longer than 4 pages. Page size should be: text width: 16.0 cm, text height: 23.0 cm. (see the Latex style file iis2001.sty for more details, also a sample latex file and sample ps file and ). REMAKR: The conference place is still not fixed so that after Feb.15th the style file will be updated.
